Laboratory Safety
Laboratory safety is the responsibility of everyone: faculty, students and staff. Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) works closely with the Chemistry Department to facilitate laboratory safety training for students and employees. EHS provides content such as basic orientation guidelines, training templates, and web-based or in-person training opportunities. More information regarding EHS can be found here.
For more information concerning the departmental chemical inventory & safety plan, please contact Patrick Martino, Salem Hall Laboratory Manager, martinop@wfu.edu, or Brian Smith, Wake Downtown Laboratory Manager, smtihbt@wfu.edu.
Chemical Safety Committee
The members of the Wake Forest University Chemical Safety Committee are: Al Rives (chair), Paul Jones, Rebecca Alexander, Cynthia Day, David Wren, Immanuela Onocha (EHS), Patrick Martino, and Brian Smith
