The Department of Chemistry offers courses with outstanding faculty and research opportunities in world-class laboratories to undergraduate students interested in exploring the material world. The department offers four majors certified by the American Chemical Society (B.S., B.S with concentration in medicinal chemistry, B.S with concentration in biological chemistry, B.S with concentration in materials chemistry) as well as a Bachelor of Arts. Undergraduates work alongside faculty and graduate students in research labs in a collaborative environment and have the opportunity to earn an Honors degree through their research.
