This year Jim Harton (’74) steps into the role of Chair after two years of major contributions on the Committee. Jim was the president and CEO of Solvay North America, and now holds the same position with Eco-Services, the nation’s leading supplier of sulfuric acid.
Joining the Committee this year are Willie Hoos (’89) and Bill Batten (’74). Willie is a consultant to the medical care and medical care delivery industry, and Bill is the owner and President of Thermaco, manufacturer of effluent compliance products for commercial and industrial facilities. Both Willie and Bill have been strong supporters of the Department. Willie has made several presentations in recent years, and Bill has helped several students with internships.
